Web standards are boring

Let’s face it: web standards are boring! Focusing discussions on them is like taking cooking lessons from a chef who only ever talks about food safety; sure they’re important, but there’s so much more involved in creating a decent meal.

I think he’s nailed it. Talking about standards is not the way to the client’s heart. I’ll let you know when I figure out what is, but in the meantime…
